While season ticket holders and single-show attendees have always been the heart of Portsmouth Little Theatre, we’re excited to introduce a new way to get involved: the PLTeam!

By joining the PLTeam, you become a sustaining member of our theatre family through a simple $10 monthly donation. Even though PLT is 100% volunteer-run and responsibly funded through ticket sales, fundraisers, grants, and sponsorships, we still face ongoing needs beyond day-to-day operations—especially as we aim to produce high-quality shows and preserve our beloved historic building.

Here’s how it works: 

• $10 per month is automatically withdrawn from your checking account.

• All donations go toward positive growth and development of the theatre.

• You’ll receive an annual donor update detailing exactly how your contribution was used.

• 25% of all funds go directly into current season productions.

• 25% is invested into a long-term development fund for major upgrades (like a $27,000 lighting overhaul!).

• 50% is used during the year for new tech, building improvements, and essential updates.

PLTeam members will be recognized in every show program, and we’re working on additional ways to thank you—like exclusive updates, behind-the-scenes access, and future member-only perks. We’re committed to delivering top-notch performances in a welcoming, modernized space. But to achieve that, we need to invest in vital equipment—things like follow spots, weather effects, upgraded sound systems, breakaway props, and more.
