![]() ![]() Tickets for "Annie - The Musical" are available at the following places: The amount of individuals who turned out for Annie Auditions this year was amazing, which made decision making all the more difficult. We applaud everyone’s courage and enthusiasm for auditioning; however, we made decisions based on our vision of the show we want to produce. Unfortunately, we were unable to cast everyone due to the size limitations of our stage (once you add set, props, and bodies). Therefore, if you do not see your name, please do not assume you gave a bad audition. In fact, so many gave a wonderful audition, it has left us up for hours poring over audition tapes, reading notes and finally making tough decisions. Even though not everyone was cast, we brainstormed and found a creative solution to give more individuals a chance to learn and better develop their craft in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Therefore, the principal role of Annie and the six supporting Orphan roles are double cast; meaning, those chosen for Annie and Orphan roles will get a three run weekend as a main and supporting character and another three run weekend as a child chorus member. Therefore, this will mean even more dedication to the show, as you will essentially learn two different parts and choreography. All individuals are cast with the exception of Miss Hannigan. Miss Hannigan callbacks will take place at the PLT on Monday, January 16th @ 7pm. I want to congratulate all those who auditioned and demonstrated courage and confidence, especially to all the children. To those who made the cut, we applaud you. To those who we were unable to cast, we encourage you to keep coming back to audition. First read-through and introductions will be Wednesday, January 18th at 6:30 pm. At that time, you will receive a contact sheet and detailed rehearsal schedule. *Callback information found after cast list. Lyrics Little girls Little girls Everywhere I turn I can see them Little girls Little girls Night and day I eat, sleep and breathe them I'm an ordinary woman With feelings I'd like a man to nibble on my ear But I'll admit no man has bit So how come I'm the mother of the year? Little cheeks Little teeth Everything around me is little If I wring Little necks Surely I will get an acquittal Some women are dripping with diamonds Some women are dripping with pearls Lucky me! Lucky me! Look at what I'm dripping with Little girls How I hate Little shoes Little socks And each little bloomer I'd have cracked Years ago If it weren't for my Sense of humor Some day I'll step on their freckles Some night I'll straighten their curls Send a flood Send the flu Anything that You can do To little girls Some day I'll land in the nut house With all the nuts and the squirrels There I'll stay Until the prohibition of Little girls.
